Wig Length Guide

Not sure which length to choose? This guide shows you exactly how each length looks on a typical adult frame.

How we measure: Wig lengths are measured from the crown of the head to the tips of the hair when the hair is pulled straight. Wavy and curly styles appear shorter due to shrinkage — typically 2–4 inches shorter than the stated length.

Tips for Choosing Length

• Shorter wigs require less maintenance — great for beginners
• Curly/wavy textures have 15–20% shrinkage — size up
• Longer wigs show more texture and movement
• For Aso-ebi events, 18–22 inches is the most popular
• Bone straight looks best at 16 inches and above
